Mycorrhiza, derived from the Greek words “mycos” (meaning fungus) and “rhiza” (meaning root), refers to a remarkable symbiotic relationship between certain fungi and the roots of most plants. Ectomycorrhiza is a type of mycorrhizal association where the fungal hyphae form a dense external sheath around the plant root tips. This type is commonly found in trees such as pines, oaks, and birches.

Mechanism of Action

It solubilizes Phosphate in soil, helps in root development and nutrient transfer. Mycorrhiza also helps in growth of crops.

Dose

For Soil Application : Add 250 Gm of bio fertilizer at 1 acre of land through drip irrigation or drench the soil at proper moisture of land.

Seed Treatment/Seed Dressing : Use 10ml of KMB per 100ml of water or mix it with 20gm sugar/jaggery for 1kg of seeds. After being uniformly wet shake them gently to form uniform layer of culture coating. Then dry the seeds in shade for 20-25 minutes.
